Search this Thread Advanced Search. I’ll Take a look at the man for your board and see if anything looks the same. I think every harddisk manufacturer has a utility like this, check there.

BB code is On. You will not see the drive in My Computer or Explorer until the drive has been formatted.
Well, I built an Allenstein machine and I am having trouble. I also moved the jumper to what I thought I was limiting the drive to 1.
I have been using an older computer I built from the recommendations I found here. You can then format the other one after you install windows. All times are GMT It’s setting up a RAID array that is recommended against. I had some trouble as well but there was a nice utility on the Western Digital Website xe made installing the harddrive easy. This ASUS bios isn’t as user friendly. I suggest you stick the drive in another computer, soubd it wiuth the included software, then reinstall it in the original machine.
